Usually when visiting a city we tend to prefer just the main events and venues and we forget and ignore all the beauties or exhibitions we have right next door, do you agree with us? We at Margherita House are in love with Venice and with our location, that's why we want to let you know about a permanent exhibition held in the Church of San Barnaba, just few steps from our house. Leonardo da Vinci's uncountable inventions are represented in this exhibition; some 40 models of different types and sizes faithfully reproduced from the original drawings of Leonardo, from housing and building to mechanics, from hydraulics to war machinery, and machines for flight. Along with the "machine" (all of them interactive) a number of well-known drawings by Leonardo are on display and multimedia materials are available for visitors.
